Welcome to the Richland County Emergency Management Agency (EMA)
The mission of the Richland County Emergency Management Agency (REMA) is to protect communities by will coordinate the resources of the Federal, State, local governments, and non-governmental organizations to effectively meet the challenges of natural disasters, acts of terrorism, or other man-made disasters.
About EMA
Richland County EMA assists local law enforcement, fire departments, health department in providing resources that might be requested. Richland County EMA can assist in doing searches for lost individuals; assist with searching for individuals being sought by law enforcement, support law enforcement and fire departments with traffic control; and assist in the landing of medical helicopters at predetermined landing zones. Richland County EMA has a drone that aids in searches and other aerial activities requested by law enforcement and fire departments.
