Shell Road Construction
Richland County will be reconstructing a section of N. Shell Road starting at the CSX Railroad and continuing South to Mt. Pleasant Lane. Weather permitting, this work will begin on June 5th and take two weeks to finish. Shell Road will be closed during the day to all but local residents. Shell Road will be open to traffic in the evenings, but motorists are reminded that the road will be under construction, and they will encounter varying surface conditions.
