IL 130 Construction
The State of Illinois has contracted with Howell Paving for improvements on IL Route 130, including rehabilitation of the bridge over the Long Branch of Fox River. This bridge is located at the intersection of Mt. Gilead Lane and IL 130. Weather permitting, IDOT will have the West side of the IL Route 130/Mt. Gilead Lane intersection closed from the morning of Wednesday, August13th to the morning of Thursday, August 14th. On Friday, August 15th IDOT will close the East side of the IL Route 130/Mt. Gilead Lane intersection. On Monday, August 18th repairs to the Route 130 bridge will begin. At that time, the traffic on the bridge will be reduced to one lane. Motorists should plan for travel delays.
